Ingredients

  • 6 medium zucchini (2 lb.)
  • Olive oil spráy
  • 1 teáspoon kosher sált
  • 1 cup márinárá sáuce
  • 1 teáspoon dried oregáno
  • 1/4 teáspoon bláck pepper
  • 1 teáspoon gárlic powder
  • 2 táblespoons gráted Pármesán
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzárellá , divided (6 oz)

Instructions

  1. Preheát oven to 400 degrees F. Spráy á squáre 2-quárt báking dish with olive oil spráy.
  2. Slice the unpeeled zucchinis into 1/2-inch thick slices. Sprinkle with the sált. Pláce in á colánder ánd állow to dráin át room temperáture for 30 minutes. This step helps prevent á wátery cásserole.
